BioZainab is a character on the Pern themed game Red Star Passes.
Desc: Too tall to truly be seen as feminine this woman stands head to head with many a man. Her figure is sturdy without any thin fragility and she looks like nothing more than a woman designed for hard work or childbearing. Dark brown hair frames her pale face and falls to nearly her mid-back gathered with a black ribbon that keeps all but a few stubborn locks from falling into her eyes at times. Hazel eyes are set in a strong face with high cheekbones and full lips. Her nose detracts from her general pleasing features with a slight bend and flatness that looks to have come from a break sometime in her past.
Info: Arriving at Benden around the beginning of turn 5 Zainab's story is a sad one. Thankfully her cousin H'den, taking pity on her, brought her to the weyr when she had nowhere else to go. Her husband had turned her away when she could not bear him children and her parents had no room for a full grown daughter who had ruined an alliance. Thankfully she's skilled with a needle and enjoys the company of the elders so is able to earn her keep repairing clothes in need of mending and entertaining the old uncles and aunties. Despite an ungainly height she does not slouch and bears up well under teasings about the weather up there. As for her broken nose she's rather silent on the subject refusing to explain what happened to anyone.
